MONGKEN — My Beloved

My Beloved. My Culture. My Identity.

Mongken means “My Beloved” — a name that reflects deep connection, pride, and storytelling. Based in Nagaland, we are a culture-first fashion brand that celebrates the artistry of the Naga tribes through modern, wearable designs.

We create Nagaland-made clothing and home textiles using both traditional tribal patterns and digitally reimagined Naga motifs. Each product is crafted in our in-house production unit in Chümoukedima, where skilled Naga artisans bring stories to life through thread and print.

🌿 What We Stand For

  • Cultural Preservation: Every Mongken motif is rooted in authentic tribal symbolism.
  • Craftsmanship: Designed, printed, and stitched in-house with care.
  • Empowerment: We support local livelihoods by training and employing artisans from the region.
  • Sustainability: Small-batch, ethical production using breathable fabrics like mulmul cotton.
  • Design with Meaning: Every piece tells a story — a pattern passed down through generations.

🧵 From Hills to Hangers

Whether it’s a printed kurta, a hand-finished top, or a cushion cover with tribal detailing, Mongken garments speak of identity, resilience, and rooted elegance. We bridge the gap between traditional Naga aesthetics and contemporary fashion, offering collections that are both statement-making and soul-filled.

With a fully equipped in-house studio and textile printer, we offer both exclusive Mongken collections and custom apparel manufacturing for others. Every product is made in Nagaland with care, storytelling, and purpose.
